Variety: Garnacha Tintorera (from 51-year-old vines)
Style: 6 month oak-aged red wine. Vineyard Estate: El Carrascal Winemaking: Hand harvested in the beginning of September. Red vinification at 25-28ºC. Short aging in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Tasting Notes: Dark cherry red color in the center and more violet around the edge. It offers up a bouquet of incense and fruity raspberry aromas. Well structured medium aged wine, with velvety tannins, smooth and rounded palate and elegant oak complexity.
Wine Pairing: Cheese, all kinds of roasted, grilled meat. Peculiarity: Garnacha’s typically raspy tannins become very elegant, silky in this wine thanks to the extreme care and dedication of our winemaker Amelia Coloma.
